HELP US, HELP THEM 🐾🐾
Private donations, as well as contributions from local government and businesses, keep HSTC at the ready to help those who need us most within Tipton County and the City of Tipton.
🐾🐾 Donate
Financial Support allows us to address the most emergent need at the time. We are fiscally responsible with every dollar that comes into the shelter, making sure it supports the well-being of as many animals as possible.
Please see below for your preferred payment type. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, would like to discuss planned giving, sponsorship, or have other questions, please click here to email us, and we will be glad to reach out to you directly.
🐾🐾 Supplies
Supplies donated to the shelter help us every day. Items like cat and dog food, cat litter, and cleaning supplies are vital to accomplishing our mission. For more information on what is needed most at the shelter, and links to our Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart wishlists, please click here: Shop for the Shelter

The gift of time may be the most precious of all. Volunteers help us with every function it takes to keep the shelter running: dishes, laundry, transporting animals to the vet, planning fundraisers, caring and feeding animals directly. Whatever your talent, interest, or desire, we can match it with activities that support the animals.

🐾🐾 Foster a Dog or Cat
Why Foster?
It saves lives. Pure and simple.
We need people to foster animals for a variety of reasons. Because we try to help in as many cases as we can, it only takes one big intake day, or a hoarding case, or the seasonal peaks we see with kittens/puppies after holidays for us to find ourselves in a space crisis.
Without our foster families opening their hearts and homes to the animals who need a temporary break from shelter life - or a home in which to heal - we simply couldn’t be the no-kill shelter we are today.
Our Foster Program also provides an opportunity to introduce a pet in need of fostering into your home without making a lifelong commitment.
